Val Peacock, RN, BSN, CRC

Val Peacock, RN, BSN, CRC, is the Clinical Research Coordinator of Liver Transplant and Digestive Diseases at the University of California Medical Center, and a Hepatology Research Nurse Consultant at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, both in Los Angeles, California. Ms. Peacock received her ASN and BSN degrees at the University of the State of New York, and participated in the LVN Program at the Deaconess School of Nursing in St. Louis, Missouri.

Ms. Peacock serves on various nurse advisory boards and speakers bureaus. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles American Liver Foundation. Ms. Peacock was Program Co-Director and Speaker for three UCLA Hepatology Physician and Nurses Symposia in December 2003, and March and April 2004 in Los Angeles, California. In 1982, she was nominated Outstanding Young African American Woman of America. Ms. Peacock has taken part in several clinical research studies, and has been invited to speak around the country on various issues related to hepatitis C.
